In 2006, The Atrium at Navesink Harbor became part of Springpoint Senior Living. The  community expanded in 2009 and an interior courtyard garden was created as part of the construction of a new residential tower. An interior courtyard was created with many of the resident rooms looks out onto this peaceful garden setting. The community recreation and community rooms look out onto the courtyard garden.

The courtyard garden is lush plant filled space that is a setting for a variety of activities. There is an area to take meals from the Bistro and enjoy a lunch or dinner outside with friends. Comfortable chairs invite all to spend time outside. There is a seamless view from the front of the building through the lobby and into the courtyard garden. The floor to ceiling windows surrounding the courtyard provide large views into this nature filled setting. The courtyard garden is a rooftop garden, built above the parking garage. As a result, the plantings were selected for their ability to exist in very specialized growing conditions.
