A ‘Village Green’ was created for the center area of The Village at Unity CCRC. The purpose of the Village Green is to unify the separate areas of the campus.

Community games such as shuffleboard, bocce, bean bag and croquet take place within The Village Green. Ornamental gardens, shaded walking paths, sitting areas, patios and various outdoor amenities encourage socialization. Areas for outdoor dining, bar-b-ques and other culinary activities have been included. The centrally located fountain is a meeting place for residents of the community. A grove of Lilac trees highlights the Lilac Tree Festival of Rochester.
