The construction of a new Emergency Room created the opportunity to develop a roof top healing garden for patients, caregivers and family members at the healthcare center.

The garden is directly adjacent to the entrance of the hospital and is visible for all who visit as well as from patient rooms overlooking the garden. The garden has been designed according the principles of Universal Design. There are ample seating opportunities on the wood benches as well as the 18″ high seat walls.
